Pace for all rides: Ride however you want to ride but try and challenge yourself. If possible, have the route on your cycling computer.
*Helmets are mandatory*
The 50-70 & 30-mile routes are *drop rides* (there will be no leader or sweep) and will challenge each rider.
The 20-mile route is a *no-drop* ride with a sweep but no leader.
Gravel routes are *drop rides* but we will make more of an effort to stay together
While all the roads are safe for all riders, we will ride on some fast roads.
Gravel routes might require some hike-a-bike and re-routes
Be ok riding by yourself or not in the front group. We will never make any feel like they are less than anyone else. On the contrary, we cheer on anyone who wants to grow as a cyclist.
We highly recommend a cycling computer and that the route is uploaded before we roll out.
You are responsible for yourself. Whether you have a computer or not, you are responsible for making it safely home or back to the shop.
A positive attitude is required. Whether these rides are easy or hard for you, come out to have fun and maybe learn from each other. Even the most seasoned rider will always learn from someone else.
The hope is that groups will naturally form within the ride.
Come hang out at the shop afterward! Soda, beer, and water will be available (donations are welcome). We try to have treats available as well.
Now, let's get rad!
